Today at the 42nd Turbomachinery & 29th International Pump Symposia, L.A. Turbine, Inc. (L.A. Turbine) announces their distributor partnership agreement with Asia’s rotating equipment specialist, Chien-Yu Industrial Company, Ltd. (Chien-Yu). Chien-Yu becomes the exclusive distributor for all new and aftermarket sales and service of L.A. Turbine turboexpander products and services throughout Taiwan, China and Thailand. Chien-Yu, a recognized Cameron turbo compressor distributor, has more than 33 years of experience in the compressor rotating business including new equipment sales, installation and commissioning plus aftermarket maintenance and repair services.
Chien-Yu’s expansive reach includes headquarters in Taipei and a branch office in Kaohsiung, DYNA International Trading Company, Ltd. (DYNA) in Shanghai, China, and Star-Dynamic Company, Ltd. (Star-Dynamic) in Bangkok, Thailand. DYNA has branch offices located throughout China including Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Guangzhou and HangZhou.
“Chien-Yu is a highly respected and successful company with knowledgeable sales and service personnel very familiar with the oil and gas industry. In addition to joining forces with this vast and competent team, we also gain an entrée to customers who, in many cases, have a turboexpander in place thus represent an opportunity for maintenance, repair or redesign work, or in other cases, there may be an opportunity to replace equipment that is attempting to emulate expander functions yet is sorely outmatched in performance, output and ROI with a turboexpander,” said L.A. Turbine President Danny Mascari.
“We are very pleased to be in the position of bringing exceptional turboexpander equipment, service and application solutions to our existing compressor customer base,” said Chien-Yu Vice President David Pao. “This relationship is a win-win for both companies as we too gain access to dedicated and innovative people and specialized expertise. Plus we have the ability to respond quicker to market demand and delivery requirements because L.A. Turbine controls the entire manufacturing process from concept-to-commissioning of new and aftermarket repair, redesign or retrofitted turboexpander equipment.” David Pao goes on to say, “This relationship allows us to continue to lead, innovate and contribute to our customers’ business success.”
