The engineering team at L.A. Turbine is experienced, equipped, and ready to meet your next challenge. Although the operating principle of an expander is relatively straight-forward, there are a multitude of engineering disciplines required to properly design and engineer the various turboexpander components. Some of the many considerations involved include rotating speeds from 10,000 to above 80,000 RPM, acidic environments, temperatures ranging from +500F to -250F, and pressures up to 2000 psi. Check the links below to find additional information about the different engineering disciplines involved in the design of turboexpanders.
