Turboexpanders are designed for peak performance over a narrowly defined range of process conditions.
REDESIGN
Over a period of time, process conditions may change, which may cause the expander to operate outside its original design parameters and at a lower efficiency. This creates two potential issues:
- Loss in operational return on investment
- Possible damage or accelerated wear to the expander
L.A. Turbine can remedy this through a redesign of the existing equipment. It is typically more cost effective to return to peak efficiency through a redesign than through acquisition of new equipment.
